Our first ever Annual Christmas Tree Festival was held from November 23, 2022. Last year from November 22, we did it again!

18 community groups and businesses (including Rotary, Lions, Women's Shed, a local gym, a local coffee shop and other local businesses, Hunter Food relief, the church's craft group, Mulletfest, the Salvos Store) decorated trees provided by us using their own choice of decorations and theme.

Members of the public were then invited to come and look at the trees and vote via a gold coin for their favourite tree/s. The church was open for tree viewing all through December till Christmas.

Each group had nominated their preferred charity. All money raised was then donated to these charities at the end of the festival. One tree raised over $700 for the Fred Hollows Foundation.

The church looked amazing! The carols played made for a very festive, Christmas atmosphere.

And already we have enquiries for the next Christmas Tree Festival!

              It'll be bigger and better this year!!
