The first one was held on Friday, June 16, 2023 between 2 and 5pm, at the Cessnock church in Cooper Street. This event showcased a variety of services and activities available locally for seniors, including: Rotary, Lions and Probus club; Men's and Women's sheds; wood turners; ukulele group; Cessnock Library; Service NSW; care providers; tai chi; massage; masters swimming; over 55's living; computer info; state and federal member representatives and even more!
It was a great success, with the opening being performed by local member, Mr Clayton Barr, and attendance by many, many local seniors.
we hope to make this an annual event.
